GBUZ SK «Regional clinical cardiology clinic» is an institution where the necessary conditions are created for the complex treatment of patients with severe rhythm and conduction disorders, myocardial infarction and hypertension. Up to 40% of patients are hospitalized in the dispensary for emergency reasons, which determines its leading role in providing specialized medical care to residents of not only the Stavropol territory, but also the entire North Caucasus Federal district.
The institution has a strong base for effective assistance. There are 128 beds in the round-the-clock hospital, including 9-intensive care, 94-cardiology and 25-cardiac surgery, 16 beds in the day hospital and an Advisory and polyclinic Department for 165 visits per shift.
The construction of a new building is planned, and design and survey work has already been carried out.
The introduction of new methods is carried out in close cooperation with Federal clinics of the Russian Federation, such as the national medical research center. V. A. Almazov, NMIC. academician E. N. Meshalkin, Federal center of cardiovascular surgery (Penza, Astrakhan).
Treatment of heart rhythm disorders is performed using computer navigation and electrophysiological systems. Radiofrequency ablations of all types of rhythm disturbances are performed, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter. In case of conduction disorders and life-threatening arrhythmia, all types of devices are implanted in the dispensary.
Since 2017, with the acquisition of a monoplane angiographic unit, it has been possible to perform coronary myocardial revascularization using angioplasty in combination with stenting for ischemic heart disease. In 2018, one of the most modern, effective and safe methods of treatment of atrial fibrillation – balloon catheter cryoablation of the mouth of the pulmonary veins was put into practice. EX programming is being implemented, and the facility is the only one in the district that does this research on an outpatient basis.
